Before Atyant Capital: In 1997, joined Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) to participate in the management development program focused on marketing and operations consulting. In 2001, moved on to Meritage Technologies, an eBusiness consulting firm where focused on helping financial services companies optimize and effectively manage marketing and distribution initiatives. In 2004, joined Deloitte Consulting’s financial services strategy and operations practice. Clients included major insurance companies as well as diversified financial services companies. Strategy and consulting work focused on corporate governance, operational improvement, and marketing strategy. In 2005, combined strategy and operations experience to start Atyant Capital. Graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering.

Before Atyant Capital: From 1996-1998, traded US equities for Heartland Securities, a cutting edge New York based trading house. In 1998, with Heartland’s backing, started Vedant Mimani Trading and focused on Nasdaq securities. In 2000, bought out all outside financing and by 2001 expanded into trading other asset classes such as non US equities, commodities and currencies. In 2005, started Atyant Capital to address investor demand to manage outside capital.
